Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using DockClock, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

DockClock is a mobile application that creates GPS-timestamped detention records for freight drivers, generates invoices, and facilitates payment collection from freight brokers. The service is provided as-is for owner-operators and commercial truck drivers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed commercial driver or authorized representative of a trucking carrier to use DockClock.

Accuracy of Records

DockClock records are based on your device's GPS and system clock. You are responsible for ensuring your device's location services and clock are functioning correctly. DockClock records are not a substitute for legal documentation and we make no warranty regarding their admissibility in any legal or arbitration proceeding.

Platform Fee

DockClock charges a $15 platform fee per collected detention claim. This fee is deducted from the payment collected from the broker before funds are transferred to your Stripe Connect account. There are no subscription fees, monthly charges, or fees for claims that are not collected.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By using the payment features of DockClock, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. DockClock is not responsible for payment disputes between drivers and brokers.

Prohibited Use

You may not use DockClock to:

  • Submit false or fraudulent detention records
  • Harass or threaten brokers or shippers
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to circumvent or tamper with the tamper-proof record system

Broker Interactions

DockClock sends notifications and invoice links to freight brokers on your behalf, using contact information you provide. You represent that you have a legitimate business relationship with any broker you contact through DockClock and that the detention records you submit are accurate.

Limitation of Liability

DockClock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any failure to collect detention pay, any disputes with brokers or shippers, any inaccuracy in GPS or time data, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@dockclock.app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DockClock after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
